Mr Ron Tan currently teaches Geography and Social Studies at Victoria School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (2nd Upper Hons) from National University of Singapore. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDE) in Teaching from National Institute of Education and Certificate of Teaching for Understanding awarded by Harvard Graduate School of Education.

He is a firm believer of effecting a Humanities education with the aim of producing ethical and reflective citizens capable of adapting to change and leading in innovation because they are creative, lateral and critical thinkers. His educational interests include integrating Web 2.0 technologies in learning environments, facilitating character and academic development through learning journeys and classroom action-research. In his free time, he enjoys a good workout at Body Combat, Body Pump and Yoga classes. And eating all the good food, of course.
